Here are a few good bones to gnaw on for the day…..I believe strongly that the events from Iraq could be most interesting to watch unfold for this weekend…..maybe a little slow and dry at the beginning…..but starting tomorrow….it could be an interesting love/hate story in the works.

Two things….speed up the budget approval process, and with regard to the law of the Federal Court….don't get in the way of progress for naming a new Prime Minister.

So the National Alliance is saying they will have a meeting before the next session of Parliament, next Tuesday, to decide who their nominee will be for Prime Minister…..they have several qualified candidates to choose from….will it be M….or perhaps a new M that we have not heard much from in the past….at least for now "mmmm's" the word.

hand." … that sure looks like Maliki is out. But like I said, he aint going to
go away easy…and some gurus are saying he will be forming a new government after
the Eid al-Fitr…that ends tonight… Some are still saying that Iraqi TV is
showing Maliki resigning but there is nothing in the news about it today officially
and my people say that it's not true, yet. But there is some great news about the
Budget being ready for Parliament and other encouraging news…

and just look for the event is since this is a multi headed snake you have different
factions controlling the RV and GOI at any given time… Right now we know IRAQ is
READY to show the GOI but why has it not shown…the US is who Iraq is waiting on to

to do with RV…the money was only an issue if the US had troops that the militants

last day of Ramadan, a festive day and so it too is also over. Will Iraq now
finally complete the formation of their new government? There is one last step to
complete it and that is to announce the prime minister. I was told they will
complete the new government within days if not hours after the holiday. There are
many that say they want to roll this RV out by end of July. I too believe this is
true. It has been stated many times since January that this is a target in many
articles. I have not heard Iraq say it will be delayed. Can they do it? They
seemed to have missed most deadlines/targets in the past and always find a way to
deal with the consequences. I am optimistic they will complete it this time.

7-31-2014 Intel Guru Mnt Goat Today [Wednesday] Iraq parliament sent a
modified version of the 2014 budget bill from the committee to the federal
government for approval. Next it was sent to the House of Representatives for
approval. So today the really good news is the budget approval has happened in
parliament after the members agreeing on all points. Folks we had a passing of the
budget for the year 2014. Finally! Do you remember that I…told you that the RV is
not dependent on the budget being passed but the budget needs the RV prior to
opening it and spending it. I said that when we see the budget passed, the RV will
come very soon afterwards, if not just before. We are soooo close to an RV! [post 2

7-31-2014 Intel Guru Mnt Goat Today the MP for the Liberal bloc, Riad al-Saadi
indicated that the National Alliance has five candidates for the post of prime
minister while noting that the outgoing Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki, withdrew
his candidacy for the post because of political pressure. So after talking to many
of my sources I have come to the conclusion that in fact he would still like to have
a 3rd term, if possible, but under political pressure he did finally withdrew his
candidacy early today [Wednesday]. I still believe that they will take the final
vote prior to Aug 5th and they will seat and announce their new prime minister to

Law of Coalition (Maliki's Party) has given the National Alliance until the end of
the holiday to name their nominee for Prime Minister or they will be named the

7-29-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar I have stated that I thought this would be over by
the end of July and have continued to think that up until very recently. The
decisive factor IMO is the government being put together and it becomes really
obvious that Maliki is not a part of and the coalition won. It continues to amaze me
that the SOL has not broke with Maliki choosing to destroy their own party. Anyway
if you will allow me I would like to change my prediction to within days of the
parliament nominating a prime minister which means it could take another week…once
we see a nominee announced in parliament, my guess is that starts the clock.

and the same decision that put Maliki in office in 2010 may put him out in 2014, a
great irony.
